What does a research centre sound like? This is the MishMash publication stream as sound: each of the results in NVA is a note, played chronologically. The result type sets the timbre (lectures are soft, journal articles ring long, exhibitions and performances shimmer), the number of contributors builds the chord, and the institution picks the pitch. New data arrives nightly — the piece is never quite the same.
