Generative Artificial Intelligence: Benefits and Dangers for the Creative Process and Product

– · Zoom · Add to calendar

Description

In just a few years, GAI has made a huge impact on all aspects of our lives, from education to business to everyday life. Creativity permeates all of these areas and is no exception; GAI has been used to be creative itself, to be a creative collaborator, to boost creativity, and to help score creative work. Creativity offers numerous rewards and advantages: personal, organizational, and global. Some come from the act of being creative, and others arise from the advances and innovations that come with creative work. How does GAI influence and interact with these benefits, both short-term and (potentially) in the long-term? This talk will explore these issues.
