Human-Machine Consciousness
Summary
This project develops a new artistic work for instrument, live electronics, and real-time AI, positioning the machine as a responsive co-performer rather than an autonomous creator. Through structured workshops in Trondheim and Oslo, the team explores consciousness, agency, and intentionality within human–machine musical systems. The work features a flexibly notated score to allow for adaptation by other instruments, producing both artistic performances and research on performer-centred AI design.
