TAO - Transductive Acoustic Organism
Summary
TAO is a persistent AI research instrument designed to run continuously and accumulate context over months across multiple domains. It features two prototypes: “Open Ambient,” an acoustic telepresence system for maritime operations, and “Warp,” a performance instrument for navigating AI latent space as creative material. The project also includes a networking workshop at Ars Electronica to connect MishMash researchers and explore the boundary between analysis and confabulation in persistent AI systems.
