Archival Intelligence
Summary
This “artivist” project aims to liberate institutional archives from colonial storage through participatory storytelling and the innovative use of machine learning. It manifests as a public exhibition at Lydgalleriet and a related two-day seminar titled “Archival Intelligence: Epistemic Shifts from Sound to Listening.” By examining the nexus between European archives and corporate AI training datasets, the project seeks to transform stagnant repositories into dynamic, liberated spaces for artistic performance and cultural heritage.
