Jannicke Johansen is an associate professor at the Westerdals Department of Creativity, Storytelling and Design within the School of Arts, Design and Media at Kristiania University College. She has a background in design, architecture, and film, having worked in Norway, Denmark, Mexico, South Africa, and Spain, and holds a master's degree in Innovation and Leadership. Her research focuses on social sustainability, entrepreneurship, and user-centred innovation, exploring how placemaking, art, and design can contribute to building a society based on trust, security, and belonging.
