Mathieu Lacroix is a Canadian composer, producer, musician and programmer based in Norway, and an associate professor at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Inland Norway. He holds a PhD in composition and analysis from NTNU, with studies at IRCAM and Musiques et recherches. His work juxtaposes electroacoustic and acoustic traditions, with research interests in computer-assisted composition, mixed music, spatial and 3D audio, and how musicians and computers can interpret each other.
