RhyGlyph to RhyDiff to RhySeq
Summary
This project advances ongoing rhythm interface research into a self-contained generative AI instrument prototype named “RhySeq.” The development includes hardware design in Iceland and evaluation through music student workshops at UiA and NMH, focusing on relational steering and human-machine control dynamics. Designed for both music-making and rhythm analysis, the resulting prototype, open-source software, and trained models will be shared to support broader artistic and scientific research.
